The Advance

In the beginning, there was nothing. An empty, colossal, infinitesimally small, nothing. Then I bought the domain and started building out the website.

This is going to be my new home. I hope you feel as welcome as I do here. This inaugural post is brief, but just a portent of what’s to come. Via the blog I’ll speak as to narratives I care about - possibly dissection of others or retrospectives of my own. ‘The Myre’ in particular is not rather old and I can see its weaknesses, and so I’ll probably open up that can of worms to talk about what worked and didn’t.

I’ll also be doing blog posts about what I’m working on, or the experience of different projects, and so on. The blog section will be much more informal in tone than the rest of the site, naturally.

I considered ending my first post with an inspirational quote - perhaps from someone I admire, like Monty Oum or one of the Safdie brothers or Mahatma Gandhi or somesuch, but instead, my own words will suffice.
